The same conviction, since 2003.
A boutique Mumbai practice grew into a trusted financial services firm serving families and business owners across India. What has never changed is why we started.
Summarise Corporate was founded in 2003 by Kuresh Morbiwala, on a simple conviction: people are often underserved not because they lack investment options — the Indian market has many — but because they lack the clarity to understand how their savings, protection needs, financial goals and risks are connected.
What began as a boutique practice has grown into a trusted financial services firm serving individuals and families across different stages of life. From young professionals beginning their SIP and investment journey, to families preparing for education and retirement, to business owners looking to preserve and grow what they have built — the situations vary, but the underlying need has been consistent.
“Most clients are underserved — not for lack of good investments, but because no one has connected the dots between their savings, protection, goals and vulnerabilities.”
Over more than two decades, our philosophy has remained consistent: put people first, provide clear and meaningful financial information, simplify complex investment concepts, and build long-term relationships based on trust, knowledge, transparency and responsibility.
We’ve deliberately kept the practice boutique. Limiting the number of client relationships we take on means every family, every business owner, every young professional we work with gets the time and attention their situation deserves — not just at onboarding, but for the decades that follow.
Where we are today
Today Summarise Corporate operates from Nariman Point in Mumbai, but our clients are spread across India. Our practice areas — mutual fund distribution, insurance, an integrated financial perspective, and business-owner-specific work — are all things we do because clients told us, over the years, that they wanted the same firm helping them across these decisions rather than juggling three different relationships.
What comes next is more of the same, done with more depth: more educational content for clients who prefer to learn before they decide, more research-driven communication, and the same limited-relationships model we’ve always operated.
